About Us
This shop was created in honor of my daughter, Melanie.

Melanie is a brain tumor survivor and a joyful young woman whose life has never fit neatly into checkboxes. Diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor as an infant, she was not expected to live past the age of two. Today, she is a thriving young woman in her 20's.
She lives with multiple disabilities, including functional neurological disorder and vision loss, and navigates a world that often wasn’t designed for her body or brain. Through it all, she shows up exactly as she is — resilient, kind, and unapologetically herself.
Our designs are rooted in lived experience. They reclaim words like “Other” and phrases like “As Is” — not as labels, but as truth. This shop isn’t about fixing or explaining disability. It’s about disability pride, honesty, and belonging.
Because Other still counts.
Because As Is is enough.
